Used car company recruits more

ACF Car Finance, which has eight used car sites across the UK, has started recruiting more agents for its call centre, based at its company HQ on Chester Business Park, Chester.

At present, it has 20 agents — called direct sales representatives — who are trained across both inbound and outbound call and cover all channels of new business.

In addition, there is a senior team leader, team leader and a trainee team leader.

ACF’s head of call centre and new business acquisition is Lorna Rossi, who was promoted earlier this year from divisional manager of call centre and affinity partnerships.  She joined The Funding Corporation early in 2002 before it acquired ACF Car Finance and has been responsible for setting up and expanding the call centre.

ACF says that the call centre recently processed 350 car finance applications in a single day, a new record.

Also recently, the call centre has been equipped with Verint’s voice recording software, installed by Business Systems.
