
EDF Energy has promoted eight people to management positions at its big call centre at Doxford International Business Park, Sunderland.
The new customer relationship managers are Sharron Lindsay (far right) and Deborah Speed (second from right) and the new team managers are (from left) John Baines, Gareth Capstick, Lyndsay Doyle, Laura Naisbett and Victoria Bradley
EDF, which handles calls and billing for 5m-plus customers at Doxford, points out that more than 94pc of the current management team were appointed internally.
0 Four hundred EDF volunteers – at the company’s Doxford, Exeter and Hove sites – will be taking calls during the Sport Relief telethon on March 14th. In addition, Doxford staff will be raising money through events such as a relay walk around the grounds, challenges in the company gym and other competitions. And staff can pay £1 to come to work in sports clothes.
