New
call centre for car giant
CARCRAFT, one of the UK’s biggest car hypermarket companies, has opened an
80-strong call centre at its sales centre in Rochdale, Lancashire. And it is
part way through a recruitment campaign to add another 25 staff.
The company began as a petrol station in nearby Heybrook and now has 17
locations across the UK and employs 1,700 staff.
The call centre manager is a long-serving Carcraft employee, Sam Lord. He said:
“The new centre looks fantastic and I am sure it will give a boost to the whole
team and help us to carry on improving our service to customers in Rochdale and
across the UK.
“Our biggest strength is the people we employ. We operate as a close-knit team
and there are excellent opportunities for career development and progression
within the business.”
The call centre, formally called the “communications centre”, moved from further
along Nixon Street where there were just six staff.
