More than 500 staff at ntl Telewest's call centre in Wythenshawe, Manchester, staged fund-raising events which included haggis and doughnut eating, hair bleaching, leg waxing, raffles, wearing pyjamas to work and doughnut eating,
Many were so eager to be involved they swapped shifts and volunteered to work overtime to be sure to not miss out - some of the most dedicated arrived at 4am to decorate the centre with balloons ready for the day's events.
Melissa Ellis, customer operations manager at ntl Telewest said: "This is a great way for our staff to have fun while helping a worthwhile cause. I'm very proud of all the hard work everyone has put in to making today such a huge success."
More than 250 staff at ntl Telewest's contact centre in Birmingham got involved in the activity and took the opportunity to "custard pie" their manager, including team manager Tony Coley.
Activities also took place at the company's call centres in Hampshire, Preston, Luton and Bradford.
